Rainbow Bridge Memories

This page is dedicated in loving memory to the MNSR foster and adopted Shelties who are waiting for us at the Rainbow Bridge.

Rainbow Bridge Stories

Chaos found his dream life with his brother Rebel at Top Dog Country Club. They could run, play and swim with the canine guests all day while mom worked, and then chase chipmunks and squirrels, bark at the waterfalls and run the rocks in the backyard in their free time. Chaos crossed the Rainbow Bridge on October 11th, 2020. He was an amazing teeny weeny boy and Rebel and I are sad beyond what I can describe.

Tessa (Roo Roo) came to her forever family in early 2010 as a foster from MNSR. We decided we couldn't live without her and so began a 10 1/2 year adventure full of walks, kisses, camping, foster sheltie brothers and love. Always patient, Tessa shared her home, her owners and often her bed with foster brothers Jake, Sebastian, Sky and Wilson. Tessa crossed the Rainbow Bridge on September 17, 2020. She was greeted by our previously-adopted sheltie girls Maddie, Bailey, and Murphee. We will miss you, Roo Roo, but we'll see all of you again someday and oh, how sweet that day will be.

Twyla caught the eye of her adoptive family when she made her debut at the Minnesota spring event. She joined MNSR Sheltie Laydee and became Laydee’s mentor. Twyla loved being with her family and camping season was her favorite. Twyla crossed the Rainbow Bridge on September 16th, 2020. We were blessed with the opportunity to accomplish Twyla's move to dog heaven while being outside with the sun shining. We adopted her 4-24-2014. The love never stopped.

Bandit was one of two senior Shelties who came to MNSR after their person passed away. His foster family fell in love with his sweet and gentle nature and invited him to stay permanently. He was very loved and got lots of attention when he was able to fly as a Support Animal. Bandit crossed the Rainbow Bridge on September 13th, 2020.
