Dear little Lassie has gained her angel wings on August 11th, 2020 at age 15. Lassie appreciated very much to be the one and only in mom's life. She loved having mom's attention, going for short walks together, and being near mom whenever possible. We are grateful for the love and happiness that Lassie received. |
I am so sad to share that we had to say goodbye to our sweet boy Zorro last week. Zorro came to us 13 years ago as a referral from MN Sheltie Rescue to (then) Iowa sheltie rescue. Zorro’s passing is truly devastating to us - and his sheltie sister KC continues to look around the house for him. We were so blessed to have Zorro in our lives for so long and have many happy memories to think back on - from fun at agility to long walks around the lake and wrestling with his sister. Thank you to the sheltie rescue organizations for helping bring such happiness to our home. |
At 16 years of age, Zipper crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on July 30, 2020. He came to us having heartworm in March, 2006. I found out the end of that March that I had breast cancer so Zipper and I recovered together. He was the happiest and friendliest dog we have ever owned. He enjoyed other dogs but he preferred having a human hand petting or touching him. He was the king at the MNSR reunions as he always won the peanut butter lick-off and the kissing contest. He was our favorite hello and our hardest goodbye. |
Cody’s best life began in 2017 when he joined a loving couple who were committed to his health and happiness. They helped him to reach a healthy weight so that he could comfortably play fetch with the knit balls that his mom made for him, and enjoy walks with mom and dad to his favorite place, Osceola Landing. Cody loved to get his fur done at the salon, proudly showing off his handsome good looks after his groom. Cody crossed the Rainbow Bridge on July 28th, 2020 and is very missed by his family who adored him so. |
