Sasha was diagnosed with transitional cell carcinoma shortly after joining us in March, and developed renal disease in recent months. Her foster mom loved Sasha dearly and took the best care of her to provide her with a happy, comfortable life for as long as possible. Our foster Sheltie Sasha Marie earned her angel wings on November 17th, 2020. Caring for a hospice Sheltie will bring great sadness, and we are grateful to Sasha’s foster mom for her unconditional love for Sasha. Thank you to Paws and Claws Kooch County for entrusting us to care for Sasha. |
When Cooper was adopted by his foster family, he gained not only a loving family, but also a best friend in Sheltie Bram. They loved to wrestle and were always together. Cooper was my constant shadow, During the pandemic, we became even closer. I could rub his butt and he would grin and dance. I'm so grateful that, even with such a tough start in life, Cooper trusted and accepted us and enriched our lives for as long as we had together. |
Sweet little Katie joined her loving forever family in 2012. She was such a sweet and lovable girl and was especially bonded to her human mom. They were inseparable friends. And dad was so patient in giving Katie the time and space she needed to trust him. Katie enjoyed running and playing with her Sheltie sibling. Katie crossed the Rainbow Bridge on November 11th, 2020, and her loss has been deeply felt by her family. |
Ivy found her forever home at 12 years of age with a wonderful family who understood that love has no age limit. She enjoyed neighborhood walks, looking out the window, napping on the sofa, pillow, blanket, rug or any available article of clothing that she helped herself to, and bossing her Sheltie brother Toby. We had to say goodbye to Ivy this week. She is very much missed, but we are so glad to have had her these past couple years. She was a month shy of 15. |
