There are several ways you can support Minnesota Sheltie Rescue.

If you are interested in becoming a Volunteer, we have opportunities in many areas. We’re happy to talk with you whether you’re interested in volunteering occasionally or a lot. We need help at events, on our teams, and other areas.

We need Foster homes. We consider our Foster homes our “Sheltie Saviors”. The more fosters we have, the more Shelties we can help.

We are all volunteers. No person or board member in Minnesota Sheltie Rescue is paid for their work. Your donations go directly to helping a Sheltie in need. Most of the dogs we take in tend to be older and medical expenses run in the $500 - $1,000 range per dog for basic veterinary care and to diagnose and treat or manage medical conditions. We have several dogs in our Special Needs Long Term Care foster program who will likely remain in foster care due to advanced age or health status. We are a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. Anything you Donate is fully tax deductible under IRS law.
