Success Stories

These beautiful dogs have joined loving families.

We are overjoyed that 13 year old Rose has been adopted by very loving, compassionate people, and she has found a best friend in Sheltie Tukker (recently adopted from Ruff Start Rescue). Both experienced loss and difficult pasts, but now they will receive a lifetime of love and the best of care from their moms, who chose the dogs who needed them the most. Adopted 5/22/19.

Toby found a home where he can catch and retrieve the ball or Frisbee to his heart's content in the yard, as well as get in a good long walk at least once a day. He keeps everyone laughing with his quirky barking at sneezes, garden hoses, and his intuitive barks when a phone call is about to end. He shares his person and the furniture nicely with Tim, his cat-brother. He's not much of a fan of his Sheltie-cousins, Owen and Trudy; he seems to like humans more. Adopted 5/17/19.

Beautiful Molly joins an experienced Sheltie family who know the ways of a Sheltie princess! They will help Molly achieve and maintain her goal weight to alleviate the stress on her remaining three legs. Molly looks forward to romping in the secure fenced backyard with her new MNSR Sheltie sister Ellie, and lots of tummy rubs and cuddle time with mom! Adopted 4/13/19.

Willow's forever family gave her the time and space she needed to learn to trust and feel safe. They were rewarded when, shortly after the adoption was finalized, Willow jumped on the bed to seek affection from her dad! Willow joins an animal-loving family very experienced with shy and fearful Shelties. She will continue to grow and blossom, together with her MNSR Sheltie siblings Bailey and Ian. Adopted 4/4/19.
