Abbey

Abbey came to our family 11/5/2011. She was a sweetheart from the day I met her. She was always the first in line for treats or belly rubs, loved being outside, enjoyed agility, and followed me from room to room. She had a strong will, was very loving and enjoyed life. She had been ill for several weeks before crossing the rainbow bridge. She was 12. She is deeply missed by me, her sheltie sister Annie and sheltie brother Beau.

Frankee

Frankee joins senior Sheltie Becca and his bestie Sheltie playmate Stevee (both also adopted from Minnesota Sheltie Rescue) in an experienced forever home with a special understanding of how to help shy dogs to feel safe through routine, treats and trust-building. Adopted 7/5/20.

Bandit

Bandit and his mom enjoyed their walks together, both a short walk and a longer walk every day. Sometimes they were joined by a canine pal, because everyone loved Bandit - humans and other dogs. Bandit gained his angel wings on June 22nd, 2020 with his loving mom by his side as always. Thank you to the Rescue for a great a friend you found for me. He was a blessing.

Mickey D

When Mickey D joined his forever family, he found a Sheltie best friend in Sparky, also adopted from Minnesota Sheltie Rescue. They loved to wrestle or to run together in their fenced yard. Mickey D, also affectionately called Lickey Mickey due to his kissy nature, enjoyed observing his surroundings and feeling the summer breeze from the grassless cavern he created in the yard. On June 19th, 2020, not long after his best pal crossed the Rainbow Bridge, Mickey D also earned his angel wings to reunite with his brother Sparky.
