Stormy Blue found a forever family who was committed to helping her feel less afraid in her world. Medication ended up being the right answer for this sweet girl, and she became much more relaxed in her own fur and able to enjoy her life with her loving family. Our beloved girl Stormy Blue passed away June 7th, 2019. She was happy, loved, and I have no doubt that she fully understood how much we treasured the years we had with her, and the fact that she had a forever home that cherished her as we did. Thank you for bringing a great love into our lives. |
Beautiful Molly was diagnosed with a congenital heart abnormality called PDA, Molly was in need of life-saving cardiac surgery, and her guardian angels came along while she was still in foster care. Once she recovered, her guardian angels came to meet her and, when she sat on dad's lap and gave him a Sheltie kiss, we knew they were meant to be a family. Molly joined 2 rescue Sheltie sisters in her home, and later became a wonderful big sister and role model herself to 3 rescue Sheltie girls. Molly’s favorite activities were daily walks, protecting the family from airplanes overhead, and making friends with everyone she met. Sweet Molly crossed the Rainbow Bridge on June 4th, 2019. We are forever grateful to MNSR who allowed us to adopt this beautiful, personality-packed little girl. She was the sweetest, most loving Sheltie we've ever had, always close to her mom & dad. She brought us so much joy, and her benevolent alpha dog personality was perfect for our home. |
Cappy came to us as a breeder release. His teeth were in terrible shape, and after a much needed dental while in foster care, his health greatly improved, and he joined a forever family who wanted to share their love with an older little boy in need. Though he had some of the quirks that come with limited life experiences living in a commercial kennel, Cappy was a sweet little fellow who liked to be held. He got along wonderfully with other dogs, and always received compliments on walks with his mom. Cappy sadly crossed the Rainbow Bridge on June 2nd, 2019 and is fondly remembered for his smile and sweet personality. |
Sophie found a very loving forever home with a couple who welcomed her as an important part of their family. She was always included in their travels across the United States, and she seemed to enjoy the traveling. The grandchildren loved Sophie, and she was very gentle with them. Sophie crossed the Rainbow Bridge on May 28th, 2019. She was a big part of our family. We will miss her. |
