Rainbow Bridge Stories

Beautiful Mandy gained her angel wings on September 21st, 2021. The best part of her life was the past 6 years with her family who loved her so dearly. Mandy was a very kind and loving dog. Not a fan of cats, but never a foe either. She just would rather avoid them. Mandy did like to make sure the geese stayed out of our yard. She gave the best ‘leaning hugs’, loved helping ‘pre-rinse’ plates before putting in the dishwasher, and would smile for a good scratch. And, until she got older, she loved a good run around in the backyard.

After several transitions in her young life, Lacie found true happiness with a loving mom and dad and three human sisters. Lacie thrived in their devoted attention and even gave the groomer her paw of approval. Lacie gained her angel wings September 10th, 2021.

Less than two months after losing our cat Minnie, we lost our sweet Romeo on August 6th, 2021. He was just 3 weeks short from his 11th birthday, and we had nearly 8 years with him. He had many health issues over the years, including epilepsy, physical handicaps, slipped discs, bladder stones and bad teeth. But he persevered and was always so sweet and loved to cuddle. Rest well Romeo, and give Minnie some of your sniffs and snorts.

After recovering from several health issues while in foster care, Zach was so happy to be adopted by a loving couple who were committed to providing Zach with the best possible care and a wonderful life with a Sheltie brother named Charlie and 2 feline siblings. In his younger days, Zach loved playing frisbee or a good game of chase with Charlie. Nature walks in the woods were a favorite activity his whole life, even when it began to become more difficult for him. Zach gained his angel wings on August 3rd, 2021.
