 Ellie was released from a breeder and found a wonderful family who helped her to feel safe and to learn about the world, with the help of their other dogs. As she grew in confidence, Ellie helped her new MNSR sister Molly to feel safe, and alerted her mom to anything happening in the neighborhood. She is very missed by her family. |
 7 years ago I became a foster mom to an 8 year old little Sheltie in need. The plan was to nurse him back to health so he could be placed in a loving home. As Spencer settled in with us and his health improved, I was too attached to let him go. Then he found his voice, and WOW what a voice it was. He barked like a seal! How that much volume could come out of that little guy didn’t make sense at all. That was how he barked from then on, and mostly he just barked for me when I’d come home (or if the other dogs were barking… ) He loved to be outside in any kind of weather. He would roll around in the snow with gusto. He could be such a little goofball. Spencer was a momma boy. People always thought he was a puppy because of his size. I am so thankful for all the years that he was mine. |
 Bennet came into rescue from a humane society and found a wonderful home with a loving dad and a best canine pal named Shadow. Benny got so excited to see his harness, knowing that meant it was time to take dad for a walk. He liked his set routine and being close to dad. Bennet rejoined his friend Shadow at the Rainbow Bridge on November 30th, and is very missed by his family. |
 Felix found his happily ever after with a loving mom with whom he loved to cuddle, and a Sheltie brother to run and play and wrestle with. He loved people and was in his element whenever attention and affection (and food) came his way. Felix gained his angel wings and reunited with his dear sister Smurphy Murphy. |
