Sophia

After being rescued from a North Dakota breeding facility with 14 other Shelties and a number of other breeds, Sophia found her best and last home with a loving family who more than made up for the life of love and care that Sophia had missed. This sweet and gentle girl with a heart of gold loved playing tug with her Sheltie brother Mario. She was always by her mom's side, making sure the kitchen floor was spotless from any crumbs, and she loved to get her hair brushed so she could look pretty. Sophia crossed the Rainbow Bridge in February 2018, and is so very missed.

Sophie

With many tears and great sadness, we said goodbye to our dear, dear very sweet foster girl Sophie on February 3rd, 2018. We were honored to care for Sophie twice in her lifetime, such a wonderful, loving girl. She was loved and pampered by her foster mom, who kept her comfortable until it was time for Sophie to gain her Sheltie angel wings. Being a hospice foster home is one of the most generous, selfless gifts and we are so grateful to Sophie's foster mom. Our thoughts are with all who knew and loved Sophie while we were blessed to have her in the MNSR family.

Emma

Emma was very fearful of humans when she came to MNSR from a southern breeder. Emma's foster mom helped her come around, slowly at first but in leaps and bounds in the last few months as Emma discovered how much fun a dog could have, and how much love a human could give her, and how good it all can be!

Sir Nigel

Nigel came to MNSR when his elderly owner could no longer care for him. Sir Nigel, as he is now called, is being treated like royalty and has adjusted to life in his new home quickly. He loves his daily walks with mom and dad and is starting to wag his tail when he gets the attention he so deserves. Adopted January 5, 2018.
