Harvey

Harvey came into MNSR with an old untreated leg injury, and a long-time MNSR supporter recognized the special qualities of this special boy. Harvey was such a friendly guy, always wagging his tail, and he could run fast on his three good legs, never letting his disability get him down. He had a passion for vacuum cleaners and flashlights continues, and made sure to alert to any activity visible from the windows (unless he was napping). His little brother Toby taught him some Sheltie games like “tug” and “chase me,” and they were buddies.

Darby

Darby became a permanent resident of his foster home as he and MNSR alum Maki were inseparable. Over the years, Darby was a foster brother to a number of foster siblings, teaching them the rules of the house and all about being part of a family. Darby crossed the Rainbow Bridge on March 22, 2018 and is so very missed by his loving mom.

Abbie

Abbie quickly bonded with her foster mom, following her from room to room, and once she knew foster dad was a gentle, loving man, she was determined to make this her forever home! Abbie enjoyed going for walks, sitting on mom or dad’s lap, playing in her big backyard with her Sheltie siblings, and, of course, food. She loved to climb up to the top of snow banks in the yard and jump off of them into the snow. Abbie crossed the Rainbow Bridge on March 21st, 2018 in the little bed that was hers from the day she was adopted. She is so very missed.

Pearl (was Karri)

Pearl is making herself right at home by claiming her space on the sofa and sleeping by mom her first night home. Prince, the resident Sheltie, is warming up to her, gradually getting more comfortable with another female in the house. Pearl follows mom around the house and loves looking out the front window watching the world go by. Adopted 3/19/18
