Rainbow Bridge Memories

This page is dedicated in loving memory to the MNSR alumni who found their forever families and are now waiting for us at the Bridge.

Rainbow Bridge Stories

Chico came to us as a foster 5 years ago at the age of ten. We were so blessed to make him a permanent member of our family. He was full of love and gave us so many wonderful memories. Chico gained his angel wings on January 2nd, 2018. Rest in peace, little man. May you get lots of belly rubs in heaven.

Taylor was so lucky to find a very loving forever home with people who understood her needs and who helped her to feel safe and secure. She had a best friend in her Sheltie sister, Callie, and the two of them had such fun playing chase games in the yard and watching for squirrels out the window. Taylor loved to chase shadows, flashlight beams, and was always followed her people around the house. Taylor crossed the Rainbow Bridge on December 29th, 2017 and her dad so misses her companionship and sweet, gentle nature.

Jake came into rescue in 2014 at the age of 11 due to a change in his household, and we soon learned that he had some medical issues that would require long-term care. We were fortunate to find a very loving couple who doted on Jake and played his favorite games with him. We are grateful Jake was so loved with his forever foster family. Jake crossed the Rainbow Bridge on December 28th, 2017.

Riley came to MNSR as an active youngster in need of a home that could challenge his mind and body. He found a wonderful forever home with a couple who had a large fenced yard and several canine playmates for Riley. His dads worked from home, allowing for lots of love and attention for Riley. Riley crossed the Rainbow Bridge the week before Christmas, 2017. Riley was a great dog, and we will miss him.
