Rainbow Bridge Memories

This page is dedicated in loving memory to the MNSR foster and adopted Shelties who are waiting for us at the Rainbow Bridge.

Rainbow Bridge Stories

Devyn gained her glittery angel wings today. She arrived in 2022, emaciated, blind, and was diagnosed as diabetic. Her matted fur was shaved, and she regrew a beautiful coat. Devyn made a remarkable recovery. Cataract surgery, thanks to a generous sponsor, restored her vision. Devyn had a great two years with our founder, and made it her mission to keep the resident Shelties in line. A year ago she was diagnosed with chronic renal failure but she continued to thrive until very recently. Thank you to her medical team at Plymouth Heights Pet Hospital and vet tech Devin who connected us with Devyn. We thank MN Pets for providing Devyn with a peaceful and gentle transition.

17 years…beloved gentle joyful spirit. Sadly missed. Our home feels empty without her presence. ❤️

Midge came to MNSR in 2019 and was fostered by amazing people who understood her, and loved her in the way she needed. What we didn’t know was that Midge had chosen them as her forever family. Midge felt safe, loved, cared for, and she enjoyed freedom and snacks. We are grateful to her foster family for their compassionate care and unconditional love for Midge.

I will miss my best pal, Sadie, every minute. Could not have had a better 11 yrs of friendship.
