Rainbow Bridge Memories

This page is dedicated in loving memory to the MNSR alumni who found their forever families and are now waiting for us at the Bridge.

Rainbow Bridge Stories

With broken hearts, we said goodbye to our loving Sheltie Molly (AKA Miss Molly) on December 21, 2023. She was another MNSR rescue (our 3rd), who came into our lives in 2019 and left much too soon. She did not have a lot of tricks and was not that interested in showing off. She was also not so fond of taking walks. She finally tolerated such activity, after the initial very strong reluctance.

Tukker’s angel sister Rose met him at the Rainbow Bridge today and helped guide him across to run free. Our heartfelt sympathy to Tukker’s moms and his MNSR sister Shelby.

Bonnie TwoShoes was a wonderfully affectionate little Sheltie who was very bonded to her dad. She preferred to sleep on the bed with her family, and they were charmed by her twirls when she knew she was getting a treat. Bonnie was a much loved part of the family. She left this world in the loving arms of her adoring dad.

Sammy loved her naps outside by the maple tree and watching the world around her. In the winter she enjoyed a good old fashioned roll in the snow. Belly rubs were her favorite -  she would flip onto her back and was too cute to resist! Sammy got her angel wings October 30th, 2023.
