Logan

Logan came to MNSR to recover from amputation surgery after he was hit by a car. He was nursed back to health and mobility in his foster home, and after fostering Shelties for years without adopting, and with the permission of the resident cats, Logan was the keeper! He loved to do the 'Sheltie herding run' in the yard, going on walks, and was always happy to have a snuggle. Logan crossed the Rainbow Bridge in February 2020. He was a regular Sheltie ambassador at MNSR events and we miss him dearly.

Dixie

Our beloved Dixie has crossed the Rainbow Bridge on February 14th, 2020. We adopted her in October, 2013. She was just a few weeks shy of her 14th birthday when she died. Dixie was everything to us. She was the queen of the house and the queen of our hearts. We are thankful to the MN Sheltie Rescue organization for assisting her prior to coming to our family. She was a kind and gentle spirit. She loved and expected her walks! She brought us so much happiness!

Oliver

Oliver interviewed a really nice family and gave them his paw of approval! Oliver and his new sister Sheltie Macie have been going on leash walks to explore the trails near their home, and sharing treats to help Oliver feel safe and happy in his new home. Oliver - adopted at age 10 on Valentine's Day 2/14/2020.

Ramsey

Ramsey was a long-term foster as he learned to get along with his canine siblings and gained trust in his foster dad. Going to obedience training and beginner agility helped to build Ramsey's confidence, and on February 14th, 2020 he and his family made it official: Ramsey was no longer a foster dog, he is now a permanent family member! It was the best valentine Ramsey could have asked for!
