Rainbow Bridge Memories

This page is dedicated in loving memory to the MNSR alumni who found their forever families and are now waiting for us at the Bridge.

Rainbow Bridge Stories

My Menolly, adopted in 2015, passed over the rainbow Bridge on April 6th, 2022. She was my buddy and my protector. Menolly enjoyed playing outside in the snow and made sure the yard was free of squirrels. She also loved to cuddle on the couch. My funny, beautiful, wonderful girl runs free now.

Franny’s life began when her loving family welcomed her into their hearts. After amputation due to damage to her front legs and feet, Franny used prosthetics that allowed her to be mobile without pain for the first time. Franny’s bravery and patience were truly an inspiration. She was a joy, so happy and loving, she enjoyed treats, being brushed, following her family around and getting belly rubs. Franny loved being the center of our world and we have lost a beautiful soul. Franny was wrapped in love as she unfolded her angel wings on April 1st, 2022, reunitingwith her sister Tess. Franny’s story:

Ramsey came into rescue in need of love, consistency, and a family who could establish trust with him. He found all of that with his foster family who fell in love with their sweet, complex little boy and helped him to gain confidence through training and agility. Ramsey blossomed into a loving, happy Sheltie who enjoyed his canine siblings. He bonded with dad over their mutual love of pretzels, and his mom was his everything. On March 29th, 2022 Ramsey ran across the Rainbow Bridge to meet up with Sammy the Rottweiler & Faith the Rottweiler. I smothered him with kisses and said a last goodbye. We felt lucky to have him.

Charlie was a happy, energetic and affectionate Sheltie with a zest for life. He loved his daily walks in the woods with his family, and romping in the backyard with his Sheltie siblings over the years. When a Sheltie sibling wasn’t up for playtime, he and his feline sibling loved to roll around and wrestle. Charlie was such a delight and we dearly miss him. Charlie crossed the Rainbow Bridge on March 22nd, 2022, reuniting with Katie, Roxy and Zach.
