There’s a huge hole in our hearts. We lost our sweet senior Nedley on Friday, December 2, 2022. We are so grateful that we were able to cuddle and hold him as he crossed to a world with no more pain. Nedley came to us as a vacation sitter but never left. He was so sweet and gentle with the biggest eyes.
Sweet little Dasher has dashed into the hearts of a lovely family who has adopted from Minnesota Sheltie Rescue four times. Dasher runs through the snow like a reindeer, and already loves to follow BIG brofur in Wally the Collie around! Adopted 11/20/22.
We are grateful that Jack had a very loving family who was committed to his physical and emotional well-being. They helped Jack work through anxiety, and nurtured him back to health after a cancer scare. Jack loved to go for walks, and saying hi to his dog friends in the neighborhood. He knew that the kitchen was where good stuff happens and he hopefully waited for a tasty morsel to fall. Jack was the sweetest boy and a gentle soul.
I wasn’t ready. I’ve never even contemplated life without my baby girl Princess. Of course when you get a pet, you know the inevitable. But I still wasn’t ready.
