Bo

I'm absolutely devastated to say we lost Bo/Beau today. I know he was very happy and joyous until the last day. He walked with a spring in his step and  greeted us home with the same joy. I do believe he knew he was loved. Getaways to Duluth won't be the same without him cuddling with me as I read, slipping him Pringle. Or people and other dog watching at the waterfront.

My regret is spending all summer talking about taking the dogs for a walk on their favorite trail, and then not. I thought there was time. Summer time, and time with him. So, please, next walk, take them to their favorite spot, let your baby sniff around, roll in the grass, whatever makes them happy. Slip them a normally forbidden treat. Don't take a moment for granted.

He helped me so much with my anxiety, such a beautiful intuitive help. He was a good boy to his previous mom, too, and I guess he's there with her now. So, as he leaves us he goes home to her, where they're both healthy.

Thank you to Minnesota Sheltie Rescue for always being such a great resource.
