Rainbow Bridge Memories

This page is dedicated in loving memory to the MNSR foster and adopted Shelties who are waiting for us at the Rainbow Bridge.

Rainbow Bridge Stories

Tally came into rescue in 2007 and found his forever home with a family who enjoyed having his company 24/7. Tally loved hanging in his dad's custom paint shop with all his motorcycle friends, enjoyed playing ball, and, of course, loved to eat. His dad said he was a perfect "guy's dog". Tally crossed the Rainbow Bridge on August 2nd, 2018, leaving a huge absence in the hearts of his loving family.

Cute little Morgan was so happy in his forever home with his best Sheltie friend, also adopted from Minnesota Sheltie Rescue, and his mom who adored him. Morgan loved to play games of tug-of-war and chase in the house with Shelley, cuddling up with Mom. He has reunited with his best friend at the Rainbow Bridge, and is dearly missed by his mom.

Our loving Sheltie, Jack, passed away on Monday, July 30th, 2018. We adopted him from MNSR in May 2011, and always felt lucky that he let us choose him. He loved the snow and would prance and run and encourage us to chase him. We are heartbroken, but know that he is now running free and has joined our previous Sheltie, Tipper, adopted from MNSR in 2004 who was with us until November 2010.

With deep sadness, we share with you that our dear foster boy Bodie has crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Bodie came to us via Northwoods Humane Society in March 2017 and due to diagnosis of kidney disease, he became a forever foster. Bodie gained his angel wings on July 3rd, in the loving arms of his foster mom. Though he had been alone for a while prior to coming into rescue, Bodie left this world feeling very loved. Our thoughts are with Bodie's foster moms who took such loving care of him.
