We said goodbye to our sweet old man Cooper today. He enjoyed spending his days sleeping and being in charge of the Shepherds. Until we meet again Super, Duper, Trooper Cooper. |
Louie was born into rescue with littermates Clooney, Stormy, Gwen, Capt. Jack Sparrow in 2006 after we took in his pregnant mom, Star. Jean, who assisted Star during delivery, adopted Louie and shared these beautiful photos. Louie crossed the Rainbow Bridge on Friday after living a long and extraordinary life as a canine executive at Top Dog Country Club. |
I adopted Owen in 2012. He was a stray whose age and past was unknown. He was such a good sport, he took everything in stride. He was always happy. We learned in obedience classes, we had fun in agility classes, we later took therapy dog training. He was an ambassador for MN Sheltie Rescue (I often had to explain to people that most of our rescue Shelties were not as laid back as Owen) and a Pet Partners therapy visiting dog. He loved to cuddle and he loved to eat. He only barked when he thought dinner was late. |
Cassie enjoyed spending time in the backyard, running, chasing squirrels and chipmunks and barking at the neighbor dogs. She loved her dad, happily greeting him with barks and jumps when he returned home and following him throughout the house. Cassie’s dad was devoted to her health, always providing the best of care, and she is dearly missed. |
