Zipper

At 16 years of age, Zipper crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on July 30, 2020. He came to us having heartworm in March, 2006. I found out the end of that March that I had breast cancer so Zipper and I recovered together. He was the happiest and friendliest dog we have ever owned. He enjoyed other dogs but he preferred having a human hand petting or touching him. He was the king at the MNSR reunions as he always won the peanut butter lick-off and the kissing contest.

Cody

Cody’s best life began in 2017 when he joined a loving couple who were committed to his health and happiness. They helped him to reach a healthy weight so that he could comfortably play fetch with the knit balls that his mom made for him, and enjoy walks with mom and dad to his favorite place, Osceola Landing. Cody loved to get his fur done at the salon, proudly showing off his handsome good looks after his groom. Cody crossed the Rainbow Bridge on July 28th, 2020 and is very missed by his family who adored him so.

Jack

Jack came into rescue just as a past MNSR adopter was ready to love another little Sheltie mix. Sheltie/Eskie Jack has joined the pawfect forever family! They enjoy his spirited pawsonality and have lots of fun stuff for Jack to do, including playtime, cuddles, and supervising the gardening! Adopted 7/27/20.

Abbey

Abbey came to our family 11/5/2011. She was a sweetheart from the day I met her. She was always the first in line for treats or belly rubs, loved being outside, enjoyed agility, and followed me from room to room. She had a strong will, was very loving and enjoyed life. She had been ill for several weeks before crossing the rainbow bridge. She was 12. She is deeply missed by me, her sheltie sister Annie and sheltie brother Beau.
