Autumn

Autumn came into rescue after fending for herself for an extended period of time. Understandably, she needed an adjustment period in rescue before the perfect home came along for her. Autumn and her mom were meant for each other and formed a beautiful bond very quickly. Autumn's mom was committed to training her and keeping her in great shape via daily walks. As Autumn grew to feel confident and comfortable in her home, she was a wonderful foster sister to several MNSR Shelties over the years.

Kayce

One look at Kayce's beautiful, sweet face, and we could not say no to helping this dear girl. After nursing her through some serious health issues, Kayce's foster mom could not let her go. Kayce became a permanent member of the family and she and her mom were inseparable. Kayce crossed the Rainbow Bridge on August 28th, 2018, rejoining her Sheltie brothers who had gone before her. Her mom misses her terribly and cherishes many loving memories with her.

Jax

Cute little Jax came to MNSR when his owner could no longer care for him and wanted the best life for him. He needed a home that could challenge his mind and body, and it just so happens that the founder of Border Collie Rescue of Minnesota was ready to add another Sheltie to the family! We are excited for the opportunities that await Jax in his forever home! Adopted 8/26/18.

Lucy

Pretty little Lucy, adopted at age 11! Two weeks into foster care, her foster family said, "Sometimes during the day, I am able to go as long as 1/2 hour without thinking about adopting her." Done deal - good work, Lucy! Lucy likes to follow mom and dad around the house, and she follows the grandkids when they visit. Her weight loss journey is going great, and she enjoys walks. It's so special when a senior Sheltie finds their best and last home. Adopted 8/16/18.
