Success Stories

These beautiful dogs have joined loving families.

Candy arrived at her forever home feeling a little tentative about the change but within a few hours she was chasing and playing with her MNSR Sheltie sisters, Jessie and Emily! If they don't keep her busy enough, she's got German Shepherd Tyler to show her how to play soccer with tennis balls, and Sheltie Boomer to show her how to keep order in the house. Candy has a great fenced yard complete with agility equipment for playtime with her new Mom. And at the end of the day, Candy already knows she'll have Mom's lap to rest her head on. Adopted 10/18/15.

Little Lily has settled into a great home with a loving adopter who is so happy to have a Sheltie in her life again. Lily's new mom had a huge hole in her heart after having to say goodbye to her rescue Sheltie Katie last spring. While Lily won't replace Katie, she is quickly helping to heal the heart of a wonderful woman. Lily has a nice fenced yard for exercise. She's still checking out the furniture for the best spots to watch over the house. Adopted 10/10/15.

Rudy spent just a few weeks in foster homes before finding his forever home with a couple that are ready to spoil this energetic young boy. Rudy has a great personality and likes everyone he meets. He is making himself right at home and is already relaxing on the couch with dad, and looking forward to playing with the all new toys bought especially for him. Adopted 10/6/15.

Mandy has a wonderful new family with two teenage girls who love spending time with her, playing and giving her lots of attention. She has her place on the sofa between the girls when the family spends time in the great room together. This sensitive Sheltie has bonded well with her family and even seems to know when one of them needs her to give them some extra attention. Adopted 9/22/15.
