Success Stories

These beautiful dogs have joined loving families.

We are so happy to have found the perfect home for Rusty! All one level with no stairs so it's easy for him to navigate, and a nice fenced yard so he can safely hang outside as he so enjoys. He and his Chihuahua sister will go for daily walks to keep in shape, and the neighbor children are experts in tummy rubs. It was a tearful goodbye with his foster family who nursed him through his gallbladder and adrenal gland surgery and helped him to lose a lot of weight so that he could move comfortably. Foster mom said he's ready to leave the nest, but promises to visit. Rusty, adopted at age 12, July 19th, 2018.

Oreo's adopters weren't so sure about adopting an older dog after having to say good-bye to MNSR Lizzie, but when his new mom saw his picture and read his bio, she felt she had to meet this little guy. Once they met him, they were sold! They are committed to giving him a wonderful, loving last home. He has a beautiful yard to follow his mom and dad around in. He loves walks and will get to go on many. Oreo is a senior boy with a young heart and ready to charm everyone he meets. Oreo is so lucky to have found such a special couple. Adopted 5/4/18.
