Success Stories

These beautiful dogs have joined loving families.

What a wonderful welcome to her forever home for Gigi, seeing her 3 new brothers eagerly waiting in the driveway for her arrival! After fetch fun in her fenced yard, and keeping guard and protecting the family from all lawnmowers, Gigi found the perfect place for a nap. Gigi joins MNSR adopters of Moby, who crossed the Rainbow Bridge in May, and is very thankful to her foster family for all the love during her transition. Adopted 9/14/19.

Scout has adopted his forever family and joins 2 teenaged humans that he adores, and 3 sheltie sisters, including MNSR alumnae Mindy and Ruby. Some of the factors that led to him making this decision…

•       His BFF, Ruby, loves to play with him, even if she does cheat and drag him around by his tail sometimes.

•       A woodpile in the backyard that provides an endless supply of sticks that he can try to sneak into the house.

•       Two kids that he loves to play with and takes turns sleeping on top of every night.

•       A mom and dad who let him think he's a tiny lap dog when clearly he is not.

•       Toys, toys, and more toys!

Scout looks forward to years of attempting to convince everyone that fetch should really be chase, and endless popcorn and ice cubes being dropped on the floor. Adopted 9/1/19.

It's a Happy Adoption Day for handsome Shadow who has joined his forever family! Oh what fun Shadow will have cuddling with the family and romping with his human brothers in their large fenced yard. The family waited patiently for 4 months for the right match and Shadow gives 4 paws up! Adopted 5/27/19.

We are overjoyed that 13 year old Rose has been adopted by very loving, compassionate people, and she has found a best friend in Sheltie Tukker (recently adopted from Ruff Start Rescue). Both experienced loss and difficult pasts, but now they will receive a lifetime of love and the best of care from their moms, who chose the dogs who needed them the most. Adopted 5/22/19.
