Giselle
On Monday October 26 our little Giselle left for the Rainbow Bridge. Giselle survived her first 3 years living in a barn with no name, grooming, socialization, and suffering who knows what. When first rescued she had to be shaved which showed multiple scars. We didn’t know what social healing could be done but accepted Giselle for whatever happened. We always said she was unique and “that’s Giselle’s way”. She would even join in or start the chaos when a squirrel or rabbit dared to come around. We finally felt we got the growths on her poor little feet under control when she was diagnosed with heart disease. We were progressing well with medication but her kidneys and liver were also failing. This was too much for her little body to handle and the light and willpower had gone out of her eyes. Giselle did get to enjoy some beautiful fall days with her brother Lance. She was 14. We love you and miss you.
