At 16 years of age, Zipper crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on July 30, 2020. He came to us having heartworm in March, 2006. I found out the end of that March that I had breast cancer so Zipper and I recovered together. He was the happiest and friendliest dog we have ever owned. He enjoyed other dogs but he preferred having a human hand petting or touching him. He was the king at the MNSR reunions as he always won the peanut butter lick-off and the kissing contest. He was our favorite hello and our hardest goodbye.
