In January 2012 Lilly was brought to our house for possible adoption. Cathie saw how small she was and figured Steve would not want to have her come live with us, but to Steve, Lilly looked like she really needed a good home with owners who would give her lots of affection. Lilly could best be described as cute and sassy. We got a kick out of how she showed much more attachment and affection to Cathie than to Steve. Once she made up her mind on something, that was that. Steve would take her for many long walks, take her to the coffee shop for treats, and even made a special platform in the back seat of the car for Lilly when traveling. Made no difference, it was Cathie all the way. We miss her in many ways. It's a real adjustment to come home and not have her happily greet us at the door. We take lots of comfort in knowing that no matter what she dealt with prior to coming to our house, once she got here life was good for her. Lilly crossed the Rainbow Bridge on February 8th, 2020.
