Kay T.

Kay T. was the perfect fit for her new mom, a great companion on long walks and plenty of snuggling. "We had the best final days together and she got to eat pork, steak, and chicken. On January 4th, 2019 it warmed up to the 40’s and sunny that day so we had a KFC picnic on the bed with the windows open and nice breeze. On the way to the clinic, we stopped by a rest stop where there was still patches of loose snow, so she got to roll around in it one last time while it was sunny. She died peacefully in my arms lying on her original adoption blanket. Although tearful, I feel truly blessed with my life long relationship with Kay T. and loved and enjoyed all my 10 years with her! Her beginning story was similar to my story and she will forever be remembered as long as my heart remains kind, graceful, with moments of stillness and peace, she taught me these values. 'As long as there is kindness and stillness with grace in my heart, the little one and I will never truly be apart.'"
