When Whitney came to MNSR, it was meant to be that she would stay within her wonderful foster family. The daughter had a special connection with Whitney, finding comfort in her cuddles. Whitney found her special someone to love her unconditionally and to help her feel safe. Christmas Eve 2016, they became a forever family.

Whitney was so excited to greet her mom when she came home, barking and running with joy and getting her belly rubs. Whitney and her mom liked to go on walks, snuggle on the couch, and visit with the family (her former fosters). In 2018, Whitney had a pacemaker surgically implanted and we were happy to hear she recovered quickly.

Because of the love and trust in her mom, Whitney blossomed into the loving, sweet, gentle girl she was. We are deeply saddened that Whitney gained her angel wings on June 5th, 2020. A truly beautiful angelic soul who is immensely missed by her mom and the whole family who loved her so.
