Sylvia joined her forever family in 2008, and she and her mom started agility classes together soon after. Sylvia shone on the agility course, earning her Open Jumps with Weave Poles title. Once she retired, she earned her Canine Good Citizen and began visiting nursing home residents. She brought much joy, and quickly trained her favorite people to give her a cookie after she sat and shook hands with them. Everyone loved Sylvia’s visits. Although she was diagnosed with bladder cancer in 2012, with the help of holistic medicine, Sylvia was able to conquer this challenge for over 5 years, and her family was grateful for every day they had with her. Sylvia crossed the Rainbow Bridge on April 23^rd, 2018 and is so very missed.
