Schumi and his dad were the best of friends for the 9 years they shared together, and grew to be in tune with what the other was thinking. At family gatherings, Schumi was the best behaved, and, of course, the cutest. Dad and Schumi enjoyed their long walks together to stay in shape. Schumi went to heaven on Thursday, June 11th. He had been struggling with Cushing’s disease and arthritis in his rear legs. On Thanksgiving 2019 he nearly died from kidney failure due to the medication. Dad wasn’t ready to say goodbye to him, and asked for more time. Schumi seemed to turn the corner, giving dad several more months to love and spoil him.
