Benson found a wonderful mom who was dedicated to helping him to regain his health. At his healthier weight, Benson loved to go for walks to meet his adoring public. He was a celebrity - people would ask to have their picture taken with him - and he especially enjoyed greeting little kids. He liked to play with his squeaky toys, and his favorites were the vegetables and farm animals, so his mom affectionately called him Farmer Ben. Benson and his mom completed several levels of obedience and therapy dog training and he earned his Canine Good Citizen certification. He was much loved at his doggie daycare, where he was Dog of the Month several times for his good report cards. Benson crossed the Rainbow Bridge on November 12^th, 2019 and is so very missed by his loving mom.
