Andy

Andy blossomed in his foster home and we were thrilled for him when he was welcomed to stay there forever. He was energetic and loved hikes and swimming. In later years, with the support of a leg brace, he was able to continue to enjoy walks with his family. Andy was reunited at the Rainbow Bridge with his brother MacDuff, and his littermates Calvin, Jimmy and Ollie.

Jake

Jake was such a good and loyal boy that he wanted to know I would be ok on my own during the day. He was my shadow making sure I wasn’t alone at all, making sure I knew I was loved. He made sure I got up in the morning with his kisses on my nose and with cuddling to follow. In the evening he spent time with Rick being petted and taking naps. We will all miss his goofiness, his constant attention to us, his pack, and his wonderful personality. He leaves a giant hole in our hearts.

Sweetpea

Sweetpea walked into my life May 15th, 2017. My first foster. We had Shelties for years, but we were retiring and were not up to a puppy or a forever dog. MN Sheltie Rescue was a perfect answer. We were clear we only wanted to foster, but Karen has this special way, ‘If you were to adopt, what would you be looking for?’ We said a small, sweet sable. But we weren’t ‘looking’.

Cody

Cody peacefully crossed the Rainbow Bridge at home on January 14th, 2022, reuniting with his MNSR sisters Sweetie and Emmy. When he came to MNSR he went straight home with our transport volunteer and she gave him so much love for almost 16 years together.
