Peter

Peter was so fortunate to find a loving forever home with people who understood his social and medical needs. They were able to manage his epilepsy for many years. And they helped Peter to feel comfortable without pushing him to be affectionate when he wasn't ready for it, which, in time, he sought out more and more. "He was such a wonderful pup. Watching his journey from troubled rescue to being the seasoned old guy in the house was wonderful. We miss his watchful eye (especially watchful of the cat) and constant Sheltie smile." Winston

Rescued from a hoarding case, Winston now has a wonderful life as part of the canine management team at Gator's Grilled Cheese Emporium in Ely, with MNSR alum Copper & Dachshund Violet. He proudly follows in the pawsteps of MNSR alum Gator, for whom the restaurant was named and who oversees from the Rainbow Bridge with MNSR alum Ferguson. Winston is thrilled to be so loved and to live in a cheese-loving home. Adopted 4/22/17.

Lio

Lio was so happy to make his forever home with a family who treated him like royalty and loved him so. Lio loved greeting all the neighbors, and everyone knew Lio! He enjoyed trips in the RV and was the Sheltie ambassador at the RV park. Lio liked to be in the middle of everything, including the bed at night. He gave so much unconditional love. Lio crossed the Rainbow Bridge in April, 2017 and his family misses him so much. "Thank you for making the adoption of this wonderful fluffy bundle of love possible."

Emmy

Emmy came into rescue as part of a breeding closure. Her life made a complete 180 when she was adopted by our trusted transport volunteer, and from that time, Emmy was dearly loved and very well-cared for. She shared her home with two other MNSR Shelties, Sweetie, and Emmy's buddy Cody. Emmy was reunited with Sweetie at the Rainbow Bridge in April 2017 at the age of 15. She is so very missed by her mom.
